Up for sale is a matching numbers (except for the stock which I think was force matched by Izhevsk) 1953 SKS. I do not know much about these (I got it as part of a package deal) but I did some research and apparently the Izhevsk SKS were more rare than the Tula and the 1953 were the more rare Izhevsks. This one also Retains its original finish and not have the black “spray paint” most of the refurbs got. The stock does have a scratch on the left side from the previous owner (looks like a gun safe scratch from contacting another rifle) but otherwise it’s in great shape! I already have a Tula I purchased many years ago for close to the same price as I’m asking for this and I rarely shoot that one so this must go unfortunately
I am pricing it at $790, if this is too high or too low please let me know. I am unfamiliar with these SKS market.
I apologize for the pictures, the one of the date stamp was hard to get using only one hand. I can take more pictures for anyone that needs them or I can email or text these for those that want higher resolution.
I am located in Conyers, GA but work in Downtown Atlanta during the week so I can meet close to either locations.
I am also listing up 1k rounds of 7.62x39 (Wolf military, Tula and some rare Sellier Bellot)
Message me with any questions!
