This is a lighter weight variant of Sig's first foray the 550 Swiss style rifles into US market. The Sig 556, if you are not familiar, is an interesting platform. I have owned and shot several 556s since they came out and still find it to be one of the most reliable piston guns with all kinds of ammo. Kinda like a more precise AK. Heavy, reliable, probably doesn't do anything as well as a high end AR but its a really fun platform if you are into non AR piston guns.
If you are familiar with the platform, this is variant was made to address the first ones being front heavy.
My original plan was to SBR and suppress this, copying a guy I saw with one. But other projects happened and well, OTDers yall know how that goes....

I got it from a fellow OTDer a few years ago. Looked newish when I got it. I have put maybe 100/150 rounds through it and it functioned flawlessly.
Does NOT come with the optic show in some of the pics. DOES come with the flip up irons. I think they are Yankee Hill, nice metal.
