Kahr's are terrific guns. My EDC is a CW-45. The trigger pull is long but buttery smooth at 5 lbs. You must follow the break in procedure for a Kahr though. Tight tolerances and you will get an FTE somewhere at the outset. By 100 rounds it performs much better and at 200 its perfect and accurate. DAO...great carry weapon.
On the CM 9 or 40, expect a broken magazine follower on break in, depending on the age of the gun. This was a known problem with these guns and Kahr has changed the polymer used for the followers. I broke mine on my CM40 and they sent me a new one for free.
