My business, Tractiongrips, has been selling gun grips on Ebay for over 24 year, in their "Gun Grips" category. Over those years, I believe they've removed a half dozen items, and in all but one or two cases, the items were reinstated upon appeal, because they simply didn't violate their weapons policy. Apparently, selling a piece of rubber grip tape to fit a MagPul vertical grip is a menace to society, so that one was determined to be a violation. Ebay was a significant part of my income for the past decade, after retiring from my job with the county. Now, I have no Ebay sales popping up constantly through the day, and no shipping items out frantically every morning.
We have items listed on Amazon, but with all of the China-Direct crap on there to compete with, sales are down. Some of our competition thought they'd save some money and have their products made in China, and now there are bootleg copies of their products being sold for two bucks, instead of the fifteen they were charging. I just finished building a new website, to replace the 20+ year old site we've been using, which is on a platform so old Google doesn't recognize anything on the site to end up in search results. I'm hoping the new site will take off, but with every social media site out there blocking our posts and removing our videos, it's hard to even let folks know we're offering products they can use. I have a few custom made items listed here on the ODT from time-to-time, but if anyone is interested in our complete lineup, please check out the site InstantStipple.com. Every grip we offer is made in Athens, GA, and all of our standard rubber Tractiongrips, granulated rubber Instant Stipple, and mineral grit Tractiongrips materials are sourced from US manufacturers. Our custom materials come from all over the world, with cork coming from Portugal, Leather coming from Italy, and some of the odd rubber materials coming from various Asian countries including China, as much as I hate to source from.
We have a 20% off sale going through the end of June, and once that's ended, it may be extended, but we'll continue to offer the discount to ODT members, by offering a coupon code through the site once the sale is over. Our old site, Tractiongrips.com is still up, and there's a link to the new Instant Stipple site near the top of the home page on the tractiongrips site. There's no way to use coupon codes or to offer sales on the old platform, so I encourage everyone to use the new Instant Stipple site. In the very near future, both web addresses will go to the same site.
I will no longer be purchasing from Ebay. If I find something on the site, I'll figure out how to order it directly from the seller, or pay more to order it on a different platform. Every purchase made o one of these anti-gun sites funds the pushing of their agenda. It's a shame so many huge companies have taken the stand that if the government can't ban guns, it's their duty to make it as difficult for the firearms industry a possible. I'll be looking at sites like PublicSquare before shopping elsewhere, and hopefully, they'll approve my business to sell on their site at some point.

that sucks, ebay is crazy. Can't sell ANY accessory for an AR15 but they allow complete Glock slides. Makes so sence. I remember buying or selling a gun from you years ago and you gave me a set of grips for my Glock 43. Musta been 10 years ago. They are still going strong!

I’d have a real problem with this then…..

Yah, when they created the Gun Grips category over 20 years ago, it seemed like there would be no issue selling gun grips. Other folks still have them on the site, but one by one, they are getting rid of everybody who sells firearms accessories. I tried to send. message to a buyer yesterday, and it was blocked, and I received a popup that said messages have bee disabled due to repeated violations of using messages to conduct business outside of Ebay, which absolutely never happened. Try to do what's right on the site, and they just make stuff up. Every time I had something removed, it was for "possible" policy violations. They didn't bother to look in to the listing, they just removed items when people boo-hoo'd or their bots found a word in the listing that triggered the removal. I appealed each and things were returned to Ebay, usually after a week without being able to be sold, but it was jut a little inconvenience, since I had around 450 items for sale and having one down for a short time didn't hurt business. I really hate the way they treat sellers. They made around $500 a week off seller fees, but apparently, it's not enough that they'll miss sellers like me. Too many others selling China-Direct drop ship garbage that they can make money on. I really hope the company fails as other online marketplaces take off, but so far, most of them are worse than Ebay when it comes to gun related products. I've been kicked off several this week, after posting one custom made Glock grip tape on each. Gunbroker was a good place to sell at one point, but it fizzled out. The new PublicSquare site looks promising, if there are enough customers hoping the site. Their policies are very favorable for 2A related items.

List them for "airsoft".
I had items listed for an Airsoft M4, that were actual airsoft only parts, and they removed the items, claiming they violated their weapon policy on "Assault Weapons Parts". That was a few years ago. I was booted from the site, so I can't even list a stapler at this point. So much for the 450 or so grip tape products I had listed for decades. I'm kind of wondering if it may have been more related to people complaining about the Trump grips and decals I had listed for tumblers. They refused to tell me what product supposedly trigger the account termination, but it wouldn't surprise me if people got their panties in a bunch over the Trump stuff and ganged up to report all of my items, just to make life difficult.
