Okay, so I was lurking in the shadows, I've done a couple trades, and I'm back looking for my next acquisition. I didn't follow the proper etiquette and introduce myself first but a couple of guys were nice enough to welcome me anyway. Mea maxima culpa. And thank you for the hospitality.
From what I've seen it seems like a good group of folks here. I'm glad there's a site like this where we can go to get away from the CTD gouger clones and speculators trying to take advantage of the current situation (they're just as bad as the bureaucrats trying to quash the 2nd amendment far as I'm concerned. And I know this isn't the venue for political discourse but I wanted to put it out there anyway). About the ODT I just want to say this: It was THIS site where I found my very first .22 rifle (Ruger 10/22 I-Tac in the midst of the shortage, no less, and didn't pay much above regular retail), and was able to trade some ammo and get my very first rounds of .22 LR for it before it started trickling back in through various channels at more "reasonable" prices (compared to what prices have been, not what they used to be).
So, here's my "official" hello and warm greeting. Glad to be here; I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay so far!
