Two days in duration, 15-16 NOV. One-day of classroom in Rome, GA, instruction covers navigation principles, terminology, map reading, identifying terrain features, pace count, use of a compass, and more. One-day practical exercise, you will navigate a challenging, short range, daylight course in Blacks Bluff Preserve, in one or two-man teams (i.e., parent/child). You will carry your gear, snacks, and water. The course is timed as a means for you to measure your skill, strengths, and weaknesses. 2 Team Guys (2TG) provides all equipment needed to navigate (map, compass, protractor, pace beads, map pencil).
