I have one identical to it, the especial govt. Had mine for thirty yrs, that is the factory grips for that one. Nice!

So is this larger than the standard especial 380 models that are the same as the llla?

I think they are the same size. But you could order them with the factory wood grips. Mine is 1950's . Most had plastic grips. Mine came with wood. Nice little cc gun.
