Wanting a fun camp/target 22 LR handgun for plinking and maybe squirrels if in season. Ultimately, I want an 8 cap. Ruger SP101 (pic included, retail $699), but it is way out of my price range.

Not too worried about aesthetics, as long as it shoots well and straight. Prefer revolver, but semi is fine too. PM if you have anything, or know where I can find one! Thanks.

The Phoenix Arms HP22A can be had new for around $100-120. As for revolvers, you can usually find the Heritage Rough Rider for well below $200 (also new.) Hope this helps.

Thanks guys! That Jonny boy looks pretty cool. I've never bought over the internet though (or is buds near atlanta?), so I'm not sure the best way to purchase it. Any tips?

$150 new, didn't come with .22 MAG cylinder, but I'm not sure if it was suppose to. $30 if you want one, I'm happy with the .22 LR cylinder myself. Headed to the range tomorrow to see how accurate the sights are. Pretty sure Cherokee had a few of them, but I'd call if it's a descent drive.. I think someone bought one right after I did when I was in the store. Great selection, service and prices on everything though! Great little shop.
