Since my truck was broken into and a gun stolen from it, I no longer have a "truck gun"... I don't need some asshat running around committing crimes with one of my weapons, so nothing gets left in the truck, ever.
My "truck gun" is whatever gun I am carrying on me that day. :-)

It's nice to know that you have a designated truck gun. My worry is always been someone is going to break in and take it. A good hiding place yet still accessible can be done for cheap
