Anyone seen the Beretta M9A1? It appears to be a M9 with a rail and a larger trigger guard. Any other differences between this and a regular M9? Also, is the military using the M9A1?

I think the sights might be different. I think the M9A1 has 3 dot sights but the military version may have a front post rear post type set up. It's kind of hard to describe but I think that's what they call it. I may get corrected here but the essentially the 92FS, M9, M9A1, etc. are all the same except for minor differences like sights, trigger guard, rail, etc. I've also seen a newer version that takes 17 round magazines but I can't remember which one it is. Most of the different versions take 15 round magazines.
As I recall, the Marines requested the features of the M9A1. I'm not sure if other branches adopted it however. In any event, if you can get it at a good price, do so!
