I'm taking the family to Cave Country Kentucky. Specifically Mammoth Cave. Anybody been? I'm curious in particular about the Historic Tour and "Fat Man's Misery" and "Tall Man's Agony." I'm 6'5" and not particularly skinny, although I wouldn't say that I am "fat" either. Slightly claustrophobic and weighing my options. Anyone been? How tight is it. I've looked at pics online and it looks doable but I have no frame of reference for how tall these people are in the pictures.

I’ve been there. You won’t have a problem.

If you like caves Missouri is the cave state.lots of caves so big they drive 18wheelers underground to underground warehouses climate controlled.
Around Carthage Missouri lots of civil war and Jesse James history but the caves blew my mind when I drove down into them.

I think I visited there a long time ago on a church choir tour.

You'll be fine. It's a great experience and a lot of fun.

Any planned distillery tours?

Have fun and safe travels!

Dueling Grounds in Franklin and then Balance in Smith's Grove. Balance, just last year, managed to reacquire the rights from the NPS to sell "Mammoth Cave Bourbon." It went away for awhile because apparently the NPS has trademarked "Mammoth Cave." It's a long story but it's a wheat whiskey at 100 proof that you can only buy at the gift shop on the park property. I'm excited to try it. Probably right before I go in the cave.

Nailed it. But the claustrophobia was real.
