Mini 14 223 to 300 Blackout

So I just recently converted a DPMS upper to 300 Blackout. The simplicity of this was amazing. All you have to do is change the barrel. It uses the same bolt, magazine and gas system. You don't even have to change the recoil buffer. Well, heres what I got to thinking about a couple days ago; What about changing a Ruger Mini 14 over to 300 Blackout. Does anybody here have any experience with changing barrels on a Mini. Can it be done even? I mean is it a user friendly operation? Just the ramblings of a guy that likes tinkering with guns.

that would be pretty awsome to own.... i have thought often of a mini chambered in 458 socom as well, but i have yet to find much real info on that subject..
