Musicsl instrument sub-forum ?

Apologies if this had already been discussed, but the ODT would be a great alternative to Craigslist and FB Marketplace, both of which have tons of music gear on them, but don't have the excellent feedback system we have here (which greatly helps facilitate safe and satisfactory transactions).
Seems to me like used musical instrument sales are prevalent enough to justify their own dedicated sub-forum here.

Firearms and Music are both hobbies of mine, so I'd love the marketplace for used gear to be in one place!

Theres some cool guitars and amps for sale on here occasionally, but yea it would be great if there was more music traffic.

I've traded and sold sound gear here on ODT, it takes time. As an "outdoor" site there's just not that much traffic. A "Music Gear / Recording / Live Sound" filter under Miscellaneous might work; but there's just not enough traffic for an entire section.

Yeah, that's pretty much what I was thinking, just some small sub-section, but one that was specifically labeled "music", so we didn't have to wade through countless posts for everything from silver coins to lawnmowers, just to check on guitars, drums,etc.
Given that we have quite a few very peripheral topics already, one dedicated to music stuff doesn't seem like a huge stretch, in MSHO

I'll mention the idea of adding filter to Miscellaneous next time we're discussing such things, but Dan is right, there is nowhere near enough traffic to justify anything more than that.

I agree with specific hobbies being of importance to some. But then we need a Watch tab, a HIFI tab (and I am in this sect), a Mopar tab, etc. Gets away from the roots.
