i wonder if they charge tax yet.....
Bought one in the past. Good is very very optimistic. Fair would be a better designation. Bluing is light in areas, there's a HUGE importer marking, there's two symbols that were milled off for some reason. And expect some light rusting.
ya but they feel and shoot great when they are running good.
i have too many 9mms but the star and the helwan are my favorite 2 surplus 9mm
Guy at work has bought 2 from J&G and had @FatAlbert cerakote them. Turned very nice.
The mill marks took off the Guardia Civil emblems. Some of the guns have them, some don’t. I got one from Classic as well that was so-so. ‘Good’ was generous. Though I’d try J&G. I just get them to have them coated anyway. But for $177 out the door I can’t pass it up. No tax charged.
Order an extra mag as they are hard to get.
I ordered one, some rust and definite bluiing wear- not a problem for me. What concerned me was that the barrel had very faint rifling left. I found someone selling a barrel on ebay. I should have just bought the more expensive one offered on J & G.
I got mine from a member here and it came with three mags box docs and mag disconnect already removed so the mags will drop free. It also has the original emblems milled away but all together a very well made handgun in 9mm even tho it looks like it took a fall from the ugly tree. I also put a small strip of grip tape on the back strap and in front. Its a great range blaster

I liked it, and I like the whole idea of having a compact model 1911 style pistol in 9 mm.
But, mine only fed FMJ / Round Nose ammo and a few brands of Hollow Points -- ones with small holes in the tip of the bullet.
I did a polishing of the feed ramp and attempted to throat-out the barrel myself, and I improved it somewhat, but not good enough to use most brands of hollow points.
