What is this ubuntu stuff?
Linux (free) that's a lot less resource hungry so it will be faster and smoother. But it still has a "windows" feel to it so it shouldnt be too hard to get used to. I personally liked Ubuntu best in the past. I haven't been in it in a while so I don't know the system requirements anymore. I think kubuntu was a little lighter if I can remember right.
