All, I have a Marlin Lever Action 30-30 that I need to drill the stock for a sling stud. I neither have a bench nor a vice to do this and free drilling it is not an option. I don't want to screw it up. Is there anyone close to the Johns Creek area to be more precise close to the area of State Bridge Road near the intersections of Jones Bridge Road and North Point Pkwy that can help me do this? This rifle is a handed down in the family rifle so I don't want to screw it up and either split the stock or drill it off center. I don't mind traveling a short distance but don't want to make an hour long drive for this.
If you can assist me (or rather do it for me while I watch because my arthritis is kicking in full gear in my hands and wrists) please let me know when you would have the time to do so. I am free every afternoon Mon-Sun.
