Need Ideas for a friend in need of a heart transplant.....

I have a friend who's son(20) is in need of a heart transplant, he has no heath insurance and they are working on getting him on the transplant list. The bills are getting to be crazy and they need help, I am looking for any idea's to help them I am looking at a gofund me but want to know any other ways or things that might help her out. She just came over to my house to night crying her son had CRP for 5min before they got him back last night so I just need anything I can do to help them. I see a need and I want to fill it. Thank you all for everything.

They have but they said it could take months and they dont think he will live that long.

They are looking at a couple hundred thousand. You probably are not going to raise that on a crowd funding site alone and that money is taxable. Someone needs to form a 501c3 and start hitting the streets. Go to the Chamber of Commerce and civic organizations.

Ask to expedite. If SSA is waiting on the hospital paperwork, bug the hospital.
