New Leo in search of a good gun

just started my job as a armed security officer. We have to provide our own gun for duty. So with that said I don't have a lot of money and I need a good gun I can trust my life with. Curious if you guys know of any deals or anything like that for people in my situation. I know glock has a security deal where they knock off like 100 bucks but that's still to expensive for my paycheck. If this is in the wrong place I apologize.

As I understand it the Mall Manager usually maintains a .38 for special tactical situations. Probably best to spend the money on a briefcase full of ceramic plates to cover yourself on the way to your car while your wife takes the long shots.

OP, per a gun, get yourself a decent and used 4 inch .38 special (like a taurus or a charter arms) for 260 bucks
