Ocoee River Unleashed - Video

I usually make videos of peaceful nature scenes but I have wanted to do a high energy project so I could improve my editing skills. I spent some time at the Ocoee River in Tennessee documenting rafters and kayakers during water release from TVA dams 2 and 3. Shot in 2011. Best viewed in HD and full screen mode.

I love the guide at 1:15 jump up and out of the boat and land back in it.

However the group at 1:50 definitely didn't listen to their guide or had no clue what they were doing.

It was shot with a Panasonic HPX170 which was the last of the CCD imager camcorders.

Loved running the nantahala and ocee when I was a teenager. Now I'd rather fly fish them.
