Cleaning out the upstairs closet, and I found an old Techniques Turntable...It comes as seen in pics with some old album on it. I doubt many of you guys know the band, album, or hit song(s). It's going to need a power cord, no telling where the original may have went...I did manage to find the album cover, with the 2nd album...It has a 20+ minute version of one of their hits...
Let's go 2 weeks and I'll draw a random number on the 17th of Sept... Sound good?
A simple "I'm in" will suffice, but any cool story about this band or what you were doing first time you heard them would be awesome!

Smoke on the Water has to be one of the best guitar riffs ever! Even my 17 yr old learned how to play it. I worked in a Chart House restaraunt when I was 15 doing food prep and washing dishes. The Chef would crank this song over the PA system while we were all setting up for a busy night.

I was at the Cordele Ga fair and this was on an 8track on the Himalayan (fair ride) playing on a loop. I have loved it ever since. Read the history of how this was wrote and recorded. cool story. I'm In
