Officer Drops Shooter; One Shot

Not necessarily. I know quite a few people who could make a torso hit on a target 180 yards away, even with irons.

But your average shooter would have trouble with it for sure. In my somewhat limited experience, most vets would have trouble as well.

It’s not the distance or the fact that he was using a red dot, it’s the officers “coolness” that suggests he was possibly a veteran. I can make a shot at a human sized torso at that distance with a red dot or irons, but taking that shot at a human is a different story.
