Older Ruger 10/22 Carbine Question

I have an older 10/22 Carbine that predates the "warning" roll marks on the barrel. It is blued with the wood stock and in average shape I guess for the age. Shoots great, just no safe queen. The serial is only 5 digits following the first 3. Where is a good resource to date it and give it a valuation? I can get pics up later. Let me know. Thanks.

Value, in my opinion, is not affected by its age. Condition is more important. Then again, that is just me. If you decide to sell, please let me know as I like to work on these. Thanks!

Here in West Kentucky the older Metal Trigger Group 10/22s go for about what the new guns sell for. Used Plastic Trigger Group 10/22s go for a little less than new, but not much less.
