We no longer accept PayPal transactions at Dave's Gunsmithing, LLC. They do not allow transactions for firearms, accessories or ammunition. I don't know what they would do with your money if they determined you were conducting unapproved business transactions using their services.

This is a quote from their policy:

"We don’t allow PayPal members to buy or sell any kind of firearm, whether it’s in working order or not. The same goes for certain firearm parts and ammunition.

For example, using PayPal, you can’t buy or sell:

Any firearm, including rifles, shotguns, and handguns, whether they’re for sport and recreation, collectibles, or curio or relic firearms.
Firearm parts, including but not limited to receivers and frames, silencers, and kits designed to modify guns so that they fire automatically. High capacity magazines, multi-burst trigger activators, and camouflaging firearm containers are other items in this category.
Ammunition, including propellants like gunpowder or blank ammunition; ammunition or cartridge cases; and primers, bullets, or propellant powder designed for any firearm.

I guess this means I can't buy any more guns.

PP policy has been that way for years. I buy a lot of gun type items, reloading comp, and even a gun or two with paypal, and I have accepted PP for guns on gunbroker. All you have to do is NOT put anything in the transaction about guns or gun related items. I have sold a 300 WM Sauer mens watch and several things titled as such before. What PP don't know, won't hurt them.

Found they are unnecessary, actually irrelevant; there are other similar options so why support their prejudices?

Agreed,
But what other sites are you talking about that is as widely accepted as paypal ? I will use them if they are as accepted, secure and easy to use as PP.

I like to use PP for gun related stuff they don't allow because it's me getting over on those anti-guns ****ers. Yeah, they get some of my money but I get to make them assist in the gun trade secretly. :)

Look at all those nice holsters, 1911 parts, grips, etc. on eBay where PayPal is the ONLY method of payment.

They are worse than politicians, talking out both sides of their mouths, with their hands in both of your pockets . . . . . .
