Quality BCG

Good find...$98 is a great price. I am curious why its not an mpi marked bolt, as one reviewer said? I prefer mpi/hpt markings and engravings on the carriers. Why? Because there never is any question as to the quality i am paying for. Thanks for the link op!

"HPT" marking was never a mil-spec requirement, although a proof round was fired with a bolt prior to MPI if truly performed to the mil-spec. Stan

I got mine today. The bolt does have 'MPI' on mine. The gas key is staked well and this appears to be on par with BCGs from Daniel Defense and BCM.

Well then...thats a good deal. I found and bought one a couple months ago from rainier arms, (their inhouse brand bcg), that was mpi marked at $99, on sale from $140. Next closest ones i see consistently are spikes bcg's at around $130 to $140. Again i prefer mpi marked bolts because i like knowing extra steps have been taken qc wise. Thanks for update....

Sure thing, for what it's worth the Daniel Defense bolts aren't marked, but I believe they are MPI inspected. I know Wilson Combat is a high dollar AR so anything they put in their guns has got to be good-to-go. Makes me feel a little dumb for buying the BCM ones...
