Rain, rain go away.... 11/2 Hunt Report

Looks like the western edge of the rain is crossing the Alabama/Georgia line as of 9:00AM. Maybe this afternoon we'll get a break from the rain and the deer will be on the move. I've been well behaved lately so they've given me a week off from work. I'm heading down to the property in the next few hours to try to put a buck on the ground. Good luck all and be safe. Saw one button head, one young doe and a small buck trying to stick his nose in a doe's glory hole right at dark. She wasn't having any of it....poor fella. Will try again tomorrow...me that is.

Got out a little late. 30 minutes later I heard my dog barking at something outside of the fence, and the next thing I know she's charging down the hill chasing it and comes over to me. So my hunt was cut short, but it wasn't too bad because the mosquitos were eating me alive...
