How do you hide the "recent activity" block in your profile page?

No...it's not there. Does that change anything else?
The only reason I can think of is that people want to check the forum and not let someone who they are ignoring know that they have been online. If I send someone a PM and see that they have been on the forum 5 times in 10 hours and not replied to me, it pisses me off.
It changes the little green light next to your screen name that shows people you are online.
Hey leatherhead, was just wondering. Some members profile you can see what thread they are looking at and when their last activity was, and some you can't. Was just wondering how they did it. That's all.
Barton 72 ... That gets to me also. Had a member tell me that he had no access to the forum was why he hadn't gotten bact to me but...... He had posted two guns for trade during that time frame.
