I'm getting my recurve out and needing to put an arrow rest back on. The original appeared to had dry rotted. Is a piece of suede leather good enough to use? What should I use to adhere it? Thinking about using contact cement.

Are you shooting off of the shelf?
If so, get some of the 3M adhesive Velcro and stick one side of it to the shelf. That or order some "moleskin" for it. I've used both of these without issue. I'd refrain from using a contact cement or glue anywhere on that bow.
