Bought these a few weeks ago. I swear they feel like a pair of (somewhat heavy) house slippers! I have yet to hunt with them but wear them to work or out and around and have to say they feel great! These are replacing a very old pair of lightweight Brownings. I wish I could get them without the Thinsulate as I would really like to wear them for Sporting Clays, doves, etc. and might still but I think they may get a little warm. The boots are leather, 10" tall with 800 grams of Thinsulate. I usually wear a 10.5 or 11 but had to get a 12W in these. They seem to run a little small. Right now they are 99 bucks at the Bass Pro off of I-85. Well worth it.
