Totally happened. Like when you go to get a drink at a water fountain and they set the pressure too high, then you come away with wet face, shirt and wet feet.

Does this ever happen to anyone else?

Finally winding down for the night, I always get a drink of ice water before I go to bed. Just a few minutes ago I went to the kitchen, filled my cup with ice, then as soon as I pushed the button for water on my fridge it comes out at the speed of light, hits an ice cube just right to make a giant splash of what felt like a fire hose of ice water on my face! I'm wide awake now.

Could be worse, the iced water could have hit lower down and that would have cooled your ardour.
