Yes 1971,got it from a member on here. It's also the only ruger with a tapered barrel.

It might be the only revolver with a tapered barrel, but there are plenty of Ruger .22 semi-autos with tapered barrels, especially the Standard/Mark I.

Great revolvers. I picked one up off here a few years back. Not as loud/flashy as you might think. I've always heard that 30 Carbine is similar to 357 Magnum, and shooting this I would tend to agree.

Yeah and that's one of the more rare AMT models.

My stepfather owns a 6" 3 screw in bright nickel or maybe stainless with pearly grips. Been in a tube sock in a drawer since around 1977. Hasn't been fired since around the same time. And he's 73 with heart trouble so...
