This gun had a worn stock and rust spots all over the barrel. Apparently they don't clean or oil their guns after hunting or during storage. I cleaned the bore which took forever and did blue job. I also stripped the stock and remove a ton of dings and dents in the wood before I refinished it. It really came out nice. You can't really see the finish but it's a deep gloss kinda reminiscent of a 700 BDL. Looks really nice. All thats left is reassemble and let cure for a week before I put a layer of stock wax on it. Nice looking rifle now..
