Ruger revives the Glenfield brand

I have an H&R Pardner pump 12 gauge and I like it fine. But there ain't nothing H&R about it other than the name engraved on the barrel. The rest is just a Chinese 870 knockoff. Don't get me wrong. I do like it as far as budget shotguns go. But they didn't have to bastardize an old name to sell cheap shotguns.
I also have a Stevens 320 pump. They kinda went their own way. They didn't copy the 870 like everyone else. They copied the Winchester 1200. They're both good enough but nothing beats my Mossbergs. Yeah...I been a poor for a long time.
I can't say nothin bad about an old Berg. The new ones :noidea:. Mine's like 45yrs old and very well used. Never missed a beat, thousands of rounds......

A little thread detail. Just found out that Academy owns Redfield. And now they have a line of shotguns. A bunch of old names popping back up. Usually with lower end products it seems.
