From what I heard, his time as an NFL head coach showed he doesn't have a personality that is likely to mix well with pro athletes who are older than college kids. With the transfer portal and NIL, I don't think he would want to deal with college either. But who the hell knows?

Who knows....but I doubt it. He has been a great college coach, maybe THE greatest, so why not just enjoy life now. If he comes back and fails, then it just tarnishes his reputation.

He probably likes not having the stress level of a major college program. I bet he loves being just an analyst and talking about the game he loves.

Don't see him going to the pros again at all.

Maybe just take on a small college or high school HC job, if he really...really....wants to coach again. Better yet, don't go back to coaching.
