Just ordered this off Midway.
I had one of the older model Savage 110 Trophy Hunters when I was younger and still regret getting rid of it to this day.
Not sure what I think of the new stock design. It looks cool but more worried about how it handles.
Will hopefully be here by this time next week.
First matter of business will be putting a different scope on it and then we’ll see how it shoots.
Anybody have any experience with the new model?

I know the feeling 100%, I love vintage hunting rifles from the 50’s-90’s.
Saw a beautiful Winchester 88 in .308 on here the other day for $675.
If he wasn’t on the other side of the state it’d be mine.

Came in ahead of schedule.
Going to try and make it out to the range this afternoon and get it sighted in along with a couple other rifles.
The bolt isn’t as smooth as my old Savage 110 was but hopefully some shooting and cycling will make it better.
If it shoots as good as it looks I’ll be more than happy.
Also big shoutout to Rochelle Drug and Gifts.
This was the 2nd time I’ve ordered a gun to be sent there and both times they’ve contacted me within an hour of it being dropped off.

Can’t complain, adjusted from the high shot and got 2 out of 3 touching at 50yds. Pretty sure the low one was just me.
Will take it out a few more times before season comes in but so far I’m pretty happy with it!
