September 8 through the 11th will be a blast.
Learn a lot, meet a lot of helicopter pilots (usually 40 or 50), see a wide variety of scale helicopters(75 or more), current champions and former champions with some heli's that have incredible detail that will blow your mind. They will be flying as well as some in between builds and repairs too.
If you are a first timer this is the place to be, you will see more beautiful scale helis at Dalton than you will see at IRCHA. This event is a laid back scale helicopter only fly-in.
Its all about scale, bring some scale helis, fly some scale helis, watch some other scale helis fly, talk and discuss scale helis. if you have a machine you are in the process of building, bring it, there are many experienced modelers on hand to help answer questions, give ideas, setup help and maybe even get a machine test flown and adjusted for you. lots of info available and plenty fun too. very relaxing atmosphere and a great bunch of guys who are always willing to help out a new guy or even a seasoned guy.
One word of warning though, after you attend once, you just might get hooked and start coming back every year, don't ask me how I know
