If you get a message from anyone telling you that Gary Hosmer in Kentucky has the gun you are looking for, it is a scam. Another member was talking to them about buying something and sent me a copy of his FFL for the transfer and it is completely fake. Numbers make no sense, address of ATF in Martinsville WV was even wrong. I think there was an earlier thread about this but can't find it now. I hope no one got ripped off by these guys.

Well.....I guess it doesn't matter does it? I've gotten warnings for mentioning certain piece of garbage non-members by name if memory serves.

No, he is not a member. He probably doesn't even exist. Someone else is scanning the WTB threads and sending a PM to people saying to contact this guy because he has that exact firearm you are looking for. There was a thread about it a few days ago. I read it then but didn't put the two together till I saw the phony FFL and ID. If it is a problem for me alerting people to an obvious scam I am sure the mods will inform me. Just trying to keep someone from getting ripped off.
