Yep, remember in how the 80's they told you fat was BAD for you and that you should eat a low fat diet??? And look at how wrong the food triangle is!

It really is a messed up world we live in.
 
Humans evolved as hunter gatherers long before anyone came up with the plow. Meat and eggs were far more accessible to early humans than grains. That's what our bodies evolved with.

Fast forward 12,000 years, and some knuckleheads with a lot more schooling than common sense start telling everyone to eliminate animal fats from their diet, because they're so ****ing smart.

Fast forward another 40 years, and we have a huge problem with obesity and diabetes, including children.

Scientists in fields involving human health should be forced to study anthropology for an extended period of time, before they start unleashing their science on us.

A lot of childhood obesity can be attributed to processed foods, sugars, and little movement. Look at the nutritional value of a 10 piece nugget and fries and times that by about 3 since a lot of kids eat it 3 times a week. It's nothing but GMOs, chemicals, fillers, and hormones fried in fat. Tack on a large coke in there and you got a recipe for fatassness.

Meat and eggs are great for muscle, but you also need plenty of fruits and vegetables for nutrients that you can't get from meat to keep everything else in your body working.
