Garand, M1A , AR service rifle shooters..what's your preferred FACTORY ammo for matches?

What is your component recipe if you roll your own? Speer? Sierra match King?

I personally like to buy my match stuff and give away the brass at a match to a handloader.

I shoot .30 cal in matches and have had excellent results with 77 HXP, 150G Federal and 168G Privi Partizan.

I have shot some VERY nice Creedmoor ammo rolled by Mr. Demille and that's about as good as it gets.

Give the magtech offerings a try. Pretty cheap for match ammo and very accuracy/consistent. 77gr smk is around 55/per and 168gr smk is about 65/per.

I have never fired a single round of factory ammo through my AR service rifle. If I was going to, I would look at the Hornady frontier ammo of the 75 grain variety
