Sig p238 help!!!!

Hey guys i just picked up a p238 yesterday, i field stripped it to clean it. When i went to put it back together there is this piece that sticks up keeping the slide from going on. The manual says to push it down to let the slide pass. I think i pushed it too far because now it is in the way of the magazine going in. The manual calls it an extractor. I've tried pushing it back up and it will not go back up i need help here

Well i got it fixed apparently it's a common problem if you push too hard it pivots behind the sear
