I have a Yamaha Grizzly 600 and have been considering a snow plow attachment. We live on a steep hill and on a private drive subdivision. We have been her 10 years and each time we have any amount of snow or ice we can go down the drive but not back up.

Does ahyone have any experience at using a snow plow attachment for either? I have trouble seeing how my 4 wheeler could get enough traction to move any appreciable amount of snow or ice.

I have used them before. They work well for any small amount of snow under a foot deep. The key is keeping your momentum going and not allowing your tires to break traction. Especially if you have a 4wd ATV you should have no problem.

Look for one that attaches further back on the frame, not just to the front. Some come with weights, if not you'll want to add weight while you're plowing.
