SO where do deer go when there's a drought?

I've got a couple natural springs that are still trickling but not anywhere nearly what they usually are.
I've dug a few deep pools that seem to have worked and are still half full.
We definitely need some rain.

With all this dry soil a big rainfall will most likely down a bunch of trees.
I've had a whole bunch of trees fall over this summer but all that deadfall makes for some great ground blinds.

I'm a ground blind kind of guy! I feel more stealthy there, than in a tree....

Can see much more from a tree but I still
Like ground hunting from time to time yet every time I've had a deer walk by me while I was on the ground my scent got me busted.
Gotta find a kill shot very quickly.
I still prefer trees the best since they don't usually look up unless they wind you.

Haha....I passed one of my natural blinds yesterday and there was a massive tree that fell right through the center of it.
Glad I wasn't there.
