Excellent shape and great shooter. 98% or better. Mid '70's. Pinned and recessed. Firing pin on hammer, no MIM parts. No end shake and locks up tight. Good timing.

Model 57 no dash. No rust or pitting. Very little blue wear. Comes with 75 rounds of assorted .41 and 2 speed loaders.

Want to trade for AK or AR or other assault type rifle. Semi-auto only. No WASR's. Try me and see if I like what you have. You can add ammo or mags or other extras to meet my value if needed. No handguns and no boltguns.

$650 trade value. $600 cash. PM me.

Has the Front Sight been altered or modified? Looks kinda'...different...could be my CRAPPY Monitor...BTW, do you have any interest in taking a Norinco BWK-92--think "MAK-90" in .223--"In Trade"??? Let me know...Thanks....mikey357

I am not the original owner, so I csn't say for sure. To my knowledge the sight has not been altered. PM me regarding the BWK-92.

Almost looks like it has an old-style night sight on it, or something? Looks to me like the red insert has been replaced with something for sure, but the front sight itself looks unmodified.

All of the Model 57 Smith and Wesson pistols of that vintage came with the red ramp front sight. This one has been altered.
That does not mean anything is wrong with this sight, just that it is not original.

I took a closer look and the above posters are correct. Front sight base itself is unaltered but the factory red ramp has been replaced with a blade with a white circle and white center.

It also has the target trigger and target hammer.

PM's returned.
