This has got to the best gun site in GA. I wish we had a way to sort the classifieds by the areas that we select (NE, SE, ATL etc). Model 36 followed me home yesterday from the gun show in Savannah.
Great site.

If you look closely at the ads you will see on the left side notations in black. NE ATL SE whichever it may be. Glad you like the site!

I think what he may have been referring to was being able to sort by geographic areas so we/he could see who was geographically desirable for both parties in case of face to face purchases. In other words, don't waste either of their times bidding, pm'ing, etc if the buyer/seller are too far away to make a deal happen. I would like that capability.

Ahh good point, That should would make it easier. Nothing worse than seeing something you REALLY want and its 300 miles away :(

True. The FFL dealers try to poke you with their transfer fees around here :(

No need to involve an FFL for shipping inside the state of Georgia :)

Q: May a nonlicensee ship a firearm through the U.S. Postal Service?
A nonlicensee may not transfer a firearm to a non-licensed resident of another State. A nonlicensee may mail a shotgun or rifle to a resident of his or her own State or to a licensee in any State. The Postal Service recommends that long guns be sent by registered mail and that no marking of any kind which would indicate the nature of the contents be placed on the outside of any parcel containing firearms. Handguns are not mailable. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun.

Q: May a nonlicensee ship a firearm by common or contract carrier?
A nonlicensee may ship a firearm by a common or contract carrier to a resident of his or her own State or to a licensee in any State. A common or contract carrier must be used to ship a handgun. In addition, Federal law requires that the carrier be notified that the shipment contains a firearm and prohibits common or contract carriers from requiring or causing any label to be placed on any package indicating that it contains a firearm.

Go to advanced search, then search single content type, then search by prefix. You can just display items with your particular area prefix.
