A car show, a fight before a rap act, a bike gets knocked over, a bike backfires=human stampede resulting in numerous injuries.
I guess they still thought it was a "gun free" zone. I can't find anything on their website stating their current weapons policy (1 July changes). If memory serves me they declared these public areas "gun free" because they were "government buildings" and prior to 1 July could declare them "gun free" making legal permitted carry a crime.
Anyone know what their policy is now? No more motorcycles?

I emailed the GWCC and they replied with this:
" It is the policy of the Georgia World Congress Center Authority to not allow weapons on campus by individuals other than:
- on duty law enforcement officers,
- law enforcement officers in their official capacity,
- off duty and contacted law enforcement officers employed by the authority ... Please contact Major Gordon of the GWCC with any questions. We look forward to hosting you in Atlanta! "
As I understand it, the "campus" includes the Dome, Centennial Park, and the GWCC. I think it would only be "illegal" to carry in the GWCC because it houses a government office (GWCC Authority).
