Did a search and just saw post about the Douglasville location so I thought I'd share a post on my trip to Stoddards in Atlanta today...
I picked up a new P938 from an ODT member today in downtown Atlanta. I was eager to take her for a spin so I checked out Stoddards new location today. There were only a handful of customer in there which was to be expected at 2 in the afternoon on a Tuesday. I was told it has been open for about a month and it looks it. Store was well lit and immaculate. They had a pretty good selection of firearms at reasonable prices (not quite as cheap as Cherokee or GGS - but who is?). They had a few PMR30s in stock if anyone is still looking for those (they were at MSRP @ $379). They had some performance center Smiths, the SP101 Match Champion, and a few other pistols that you don't see at the stores on a regular basis.
The staff were plentiful and friendly. Turns out one of the guys that works there is on here. The range was well lit, clean, and well ventilated (to be expected). The target system is really nice with the touchscreen and tactical programs that you can run on it (same as the one in Douglasville). Price is $15/hr which is high but about right inside the perimeter. I don't mind paying extra to shoot when the weather is like this but I'm used to shooting outdoors where the price is typically half that.
Anybody else been? Thoughts?
