Hey folks, got an old bushmaster with a quad rail someone installed. The bozo put red loctite on all the screws. Managed to get all of them out except for one. My grandfather attempted to use screw extractors and that didn't work, so hes attempted to just drill through them and isn't really getting anywhere. Anyone here know how to help? Thanks

Hammer & pin punch to make a deep indentation about 1/3 from the edge. Heat the loctite. Use a hammer, the same punch, and the indentation to knock it counter-clockwise.

While you’ve still got some “rim” left on the head.

1. Put Kroil down around the head where some may seep into the threads.

2. Heat it with a heat gun until the Kroil starts to smoke.

3. Get an impact driver torx bit that is slightly too big to fit in the hole that’s been drilled. Hammer the bit down in the hole, and twist the screw out.

Find someone with a laser engraver. Get them to cut a line it so you can use a screw driver in side the screw. The laser will heat up the loctite and cause it to release.

This method is what I had done on my Glock MOS when the screw broke off in the slide.
