Summit viper

I've got an older model, probably 7 or so years old (not sure how much they've changed). It's EXTREMELY comfortable. Mine doesn't have the foot 'clips' which makes climbing more difficult. I did have one near disaster once, on a climb down the blasted cable for the bottom section came undone. You should try hooking that back on while you are up a tree! Thankfully I had a hunting buddy within shouting distance. I've noticed they fixed that cover that secures the cable in the frame with a new design. Anyway, I'd leave mine on the tree if it was just over night or so. The fabric, straps etc.. aren't meant for long time exposure to weather (and squirrels!). As comfortable a stand as it is, I infinitely prefer ladders or lock ons for places I can use them. Silent in, silent out.
