Some guys just love BIG guns. Reportedly, Mr. Ryszard Tobys from Poland has probably got the biggest working revolver in history. How big is it? This replica of a Model 1858 Remington six shooter is forty-nine and a half inches long and weighs 99.2 pounds. It's a black powder gun that fires 136 gram (not grain) bullets. Some years ago it took Mr. Tobys 2,500 hours of patience and resolve to make his one of a kind hand-built revolver. At nearly 100 pounds unloaded he must have also built some kind of mega gun vice to fire it from. I stumbled over this during an Internet search and who knows? It might even be true! Unfortunately, you probably won't get to see it at your next gun show meet. But if he has it mounted over his fireplace mantle in his home... what a conversation piece!
