I’m looking into getting my first thermal optic for hog hunting.
I’ve been doing a little research but was wanting some opinions from people with experience on good set ups to go with.
Price range between $2,500-3,000.

Ride up to https://www.kenziesoptics.com/ in Cartersville & put your hands on the optics they have.

Talk to them & they will steer you in the right direction.

Don’t get anything with a resolution less than 384. I have 2-AGM Adders, a Rix Storm 3 and an AGM Sidewinder hand held. All are 35-384. Used every weekend except during deer season and both hold up well. The Adder is just over $2k and the Rix just under. Thermal Optics Plus is where I have bought all my thermals

In that price range the rix LEAP series is great. I got mine from midwest thermal optics. They're a great family owned and operated store in Illinois. Shipping was fast and insured. They run some specials fairly regularly. AGM and pulsar are good brands in that price range also. Avoid ATN. Southern precision outdoors is another supplier I've heard good things about and located in Louisville, GA.
