So I recently took the plunge and I FINALLY after many many years acquired my unicorn 1911. I am now the Proud owner of a Nighthawk predator model. I plan on carrying this everyday but I want to get a nice IWB holster for it. Looking for recommendations. What do y'all use that seems to work and be the most comfortable?

I have used the Andrews McDaniel II and wasn't a fan, ran kydex before but it just wasn't working for me with the 1911 platform, and then used a Bianchi 135 and loved it. Considering going back to that but want to hear other ideas first. Thanks ~ H

I carried my WC 1911 for 3 years EDC in a Comptac Minotaur MTAC Holster. It adds no bulk to the platform, reholstering is easy, rides close for better concealment, infinitely adjustable, two mounting points to prevent movement, several choices of clips, retention screw for dialing in the perfect amount of retention that won't interfere with you draw, leather backing keeps sweat off the weapon and the smooth backing is also on the rear so you don't get rubbed to death by it, ect.... Can't say enough good things about them. Top of the line IWB holster worthy of your new 1911 investment. After 3 years, it was broke in but looked almost new. Absolutely top of the line stuff.

If you don't mind the wait i would get the VM2 from Milt Sparks. I have been using mine every day for the last three years. Very comfortable and very well made with top grade leather. By the way i have a pile of kydex and leather holsters for the 1911 and in my opinion the VM2 is the best.

I have a horse hide crossbreed supertuck you can try out for a week or so. I love them and own several for every gun I may carry.
